Each person and need is unique so we do not take a one size fits all approach. Because of this we have an application process and guidelines for providing assistance. The following information will help you understand how we help. If you have any questions, please call or email us.

The first step to request help is to complete the Intake Application. You can do this either in-person during regular office hours or online (see the Assistance Application tab). Please complete the form as completely as possible. If you need assistance in completing the form, a member of our team will be happy to help; just come by either office during regular business hours.
The next step of the process is to have an in-person interview with a member of our team. We will ask you questions to clarify information and to better know you and your need. The questions we ask are not to judge your circumstances but to have a better understanding of what has led to your need. Any information shared is kept strictly confidential unless we are required by law to share with authorities.
Next the Assistance Committee will review your case. If there are any additional questions, they will request the team member you worked with to contact you for more information. While the Assistance Committee tries to make a decision as quickly as possible, this process can take up to 48 hours.
Once the Assistance Committee has made their decision, the team member you worked with will contact you. The team member will then let you any next steps.
Our mission at House Upon A Rock is to glorify God and share His love with others by helping when we can, it's why we exist in the first place! We have guidelines in place to help ensure that we can fairly provide the most help for the most people.
Please have a respectful attitude toward our team members. All team members are volunteers who do their work at House Upon A Rock because they care.
Please provide all requested information and documentation. This helps speed up your case and helps our Assistance Committee in making their decision.
Please note the following about our financial assistance: we provide emergency assistance for circumstances that were beyond your control. There are limits to the types and amounts of financial assistance we can provide.
